Kassie Songer is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Raised in Franklin County, Kassie has deep roots in the local community. Her journey into healthcare began with a passion for helping others, which led to her first degree in 2008 and over a decade of experience in medical care. Driven by commitment to mental health, she pursued advanced training in psychiatry, working alongside esteemed Mental Health Specialists and Psychiatrists in both outpatient and state hospital settings.
Kassie is a dedicated member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Texas (PAPN), and the National Association of Psychiatry Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (NAPMHNP). Her focus encompasses a broad range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, autism with behavioral concerns, dementia with behaviors, and PTSD. She offers a person-centered approach to psychiatric assessment, medication management, and brief psychotherapy for patients aged 6 and up.
